“No, it is not a time to retreat or a time to fear. Even as you see certain fearful events take place across the world, know that I will use these things to create open doors and divine appointments for My people to display the anointing. Look and see that by My hand great things are happening in the earth, says the Spirit of the Lord!”
Fear not, O land; be glad and rejoice: for the Lord will do great things (Joel 2:21).
Whenever the greatest challenges are before us, we also know that is when the anointing and power of God is ready to be displayed. As the church, when we see earthquakes, natural disasters, and nations in conflict, we cannot sit back and shake our heads or let fear cause us to run from the battle. We are the voice to the suffering world before us and these events should serve to remind us that we need to ready ourselves in the anointing and be prepared to preach the Gospel and display the power of God. We can’t become a group of people who sit around wringing our hands in fear, wondering if we should dig a bomb shelter or hide in the hills somewhere. No! God is on the move and we are His vessels of light. We need to expect that during worldwide disaster and turmoil God will open doors and give us opportunities to share the good news and minister by His power. It’s a great time to rejoice and be alive because the Lord will always do great things in the earth!
Lord, even as I see catastrophes happening around the world, I know that You are on the move. Help me be prepared in the anointing to minister by Your power, for I know You are doing great things! Amen!
